About Dimitri Caver

Dimitri’s main gift is songwriting. He writes to praise God and encourage God’s people. He finds real joy in seeing a song come together in such a way that others are inspired to love, praise, and understand.

Dimitri Caver, a husband and father, is from Fort Worth, Texas. He accepted the Lord at the age of seven, while sitting at a kitchen table in Grapevine, Texas, when his father explained the Gospel Message to him. God called him to the music ministry at age 12, when his pastor (and father) asked his newly formed congregation of 4 people who would volunteer to take piano lessons. Since then, God has blessed him to flourish in music. In addition to serving as a Minister of Music at several churches, Dimitri served as the head musician for the Texas A&M Voices of Praise. After graduating from A&M, he enjoyed singing, directing, and songwriting with Alvin Pope & Unity of Spirit.

Dimitri began producing songs by developing music to help the school kids memorize scriptures at the Christian school he taught at. Later, he started his own singing group, Dimitri Caver & Jeremiah’s Call. He produced two albums with this group starting in 2002. He has continued to produce music since then. His passion for making music for Christ is as strong as ever, and he is enjoying writing new songs, revamping some of his earlier material, and producing this alongside his son, Elijah Caver. Currently, he is in the middle of releasing music through “The Gospel Songwriter Series” and the “Hide the Word In Your Heart” series.

Dimitri also serves as the Senior Pastor at World Missionary Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
